GoProAutoTech was originally founded and operated back in the year 2000 in Hillside New Jersey by Electro Mechanic Engineer Giovanny Prieto, whom worked as free lance tech in the try state area of NY, NJ and CT.
In 2005 moved to Florida and started helping with his knowledge and dealer level capabilities, to the most important Auto Repair Shops, Body Shops and Used Auto Dealer Ships in central Florida providing them with tech support, dealer level capabilities in diagnostics, ECU's programming and for the last years, even training for technicians; however, Gio's professional background started since he was just 16 years old in a local auto parts factory, where he learned about auto electrical systems; working there, he realized about all the engineering that was needed to built something like a voltage regulator or an ignition module, that eventually will be working synchronized whit thousands of components found in a vehicle; that experience made him decided that he wanted to learn everything about cars and started his studies in electrical, mechanical and electronics systems.
Gio has been working in the automotive industry for over 25 years; last 15 as ASE L1 Certified Advance Level Specialist but mainly, he is an electro mechanic engineer who share his passion for cars, electronics and computers with real technicians of independent repair shops and dealer ships who call him every day to get tech support or ask him for help to solve all type of electronic problems in vehicles.
Last 10 years GoProAutoTech has specialized in ECU's programming, coding and configuration, providing customers with more than just diagnostics but also the ability provide Dealer level services at a low cost and now It's also getting ASE Certification in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles, to be able to cover all types of cars and systems.
GoProAutoTech also provides training in diagnostics to technicians and base knowledge to vehicle owners.
